UtterFlow is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your current live transcription is designed to run on your device. UtterFlow does not require an account and does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or a developer-operated analytics or transcription service.
All speech recognition happens on your device.
UtterFlow uses Apple's on-device speech recognition framework. UtterFlow does not upload speech to a developer-operated transcription service. Speech permissions and processing are provided by Apple's platform technologies.
UtterFlow does not collect any personal data.
We do not operate an UtterFlow account, advertising, or behavioral analytics service, and we do not sell personal data.
UtterFlow uses microphone access to generate live captions. When you enable Clean Voice, it also saves a local voice track that can be synchronized with the screen recording you select. UtterFlow does not automatically start or stop system screen recording. You choose when to record and when to export or share the result.
Preferences, transcripts, scripts, recorded audio, selected video copies, Persona recordings, captured stills, image edits, and export files are stored using local system storage. UtterFlow uses saved source information to reopen supported work and create edited copies while preserving originals. Content leaves the app when you choose a system share or export destination. A destination you choose, such as iCloud Drive, may synchronize that content according to its own settings.
UtterFlow does not use analytics, tracking tools, or third-party analytics services. We do not track how you use the app or what you say.
When you explicitly open Persona, visionOS supplies the app with your matted Persona feed through the virtual camera. UtterFlow can show this feed locally and, when you choose the recording workflow, save it locally for supported video exports. It does not upload your Persona feed to Unshackled Pursuit.
You can remove locally stored app data by deleting the app. Copies you have exported or saved to other locations, including cloud storage, remain under your control and can be deleted from those locations.
UtterFlow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
