Open UtterFlow, choose Caption, grant microphone access when you begin, and tap Show Captions to create the independent spatial output window.

Persona and Show Captions are independent spatial windows. You can use either one or both, place captions above, below, or over Persona, and optionally synchronize their visual treatment.

Current live transcription uses Apple's on-device speech technologies. Availability can depend on the language resources installed by the system.

UtterFlow does not upload speech to a developer-operated transcription service and does not operate an account, advertising, or analytics service.

Saved transcripts and scripts are stored locally using system storage APIs. They leave UtterFlow only when you initiate a system share or export action.

Make sure microphone access is granted in Settings > Privacy > Microphone > UtterFlow. Also check that the microphone is not being used by another app in exclusive mode.

Speech recognition accuracy depends on background noise, speech clarity, and the device's processing capabilities. Try speaking more clearly or reducing background noise. Performance improves in quieter environments.

Open the UtterFlow command center and tap the pop-out button again. The overlay window may have been closed or moved outside your visible area.
